Where is Online Gaming Barred

Are there any countries that have outright barred online gaming and gambling? Are the penalties strict?

Online gambling is online gambling and as far as I know it is not legal at all. no matter where you live.

Yeah I would think that it woul dbe the same thing. It's under one form which is online gaming. I don't think it is based off of certain areas.
