Internet Gambling Regulation and Enforcement Act
Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass. - has called the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) of 2006 -*one of the stupidest things*- he has ever seen. On Tuesday - Frank will get a chance to further push that message in.............

People from the United States have been gambling online now for the past year and a half with no problems since the arisal of the UIGEA. Many believe it's only a matter of time before the United States sees what hole they dug for themselves with the passage of the UIGEA and do all they can to crawl out.!!

There is Hope
The financial and international communities are hopeful that UIGEA will soon be a thing of the past. Congressional hearings, and talks in general, are a positive sign toward some sort of agreement, at the very least.

A Man goes into a pharmacy and asks for a vial of Cyanide. The pharmacist, trying to remain professional, asked what he wanted it for. He answered, "I want to kill my wife." "I'm sorry Sir," the pharmacist replied, "but you will have to understand under such circumstances I can't sell you any Cyanide." The guy reaches into his pocket, pulls out his wallet and produces a photo of his wife. The pharmacist blushes and replies, "I am sorry Sir, I didn't realize you had a prescription.

Bill to Legalize Online Gambling Gains 48th New Co-Sponsor. Rep. Jerrold Nadler has joined the fight for Online Gambling when he became the 48th co-sponsor of the Internet Gambling, Regulation, and Enforcement Act (Bill H.R. 2046, aka the IGREA), which has been proposed by House Financial Services Committee Chairman, Rep. Barney Frank.
This co-sponsorship may be just what the Online Gambling Industry needs to spark others on the Judiciary to join in...... Make gambling legal — so it can be taxed
