Doyles room action points

Actually I would like to know what you can do with doyles room action points?. I know you can earn them while playing in tourney's and cash games.

Have been reading a little about doyles room action points.

Seems they can be used for entering tournaments, is there any other use for them ?

Use Action Points for freerolls and tournaments.
Trade Action Points for Chips.
Trade Action Points for seats in major televised poker events.
Invitations to VIP parties + VIP status.

You will also be able to get Doyle Gear and other stuff from their store using your AP -- when they get it up and going. That website keeps showing 'Coming Soon'.

I noticed the coming soon statement, I hope they will be offering doyles room gears in the near future.
