Jamaican Prime Minister, Bruce Golding, told Parliament he wants to expand casino gambling in Jamaica as a way to generate more tax revenues to pay for health care, education, and security.
As you know, Jamaica does not have any casinos in their country, with the exception of a few hotels with areas marked off for slot machines and video poker.
If Jamaica decides to allow new mega-casino resorts within their country, they will accept bids and proposals from top international casino developers such as Vegas Sands, MGM Mirage, and Wynn Resorts.
(Jamaica Parliament will debate the issue before summer break)
