Wins $5 Million Jackpot
It happened at the Three Rivers Casino in Florence, Oregon. A woman playing a penny slot machine hit the jackpot on the machine of over $5 million. She had bet $4 on the spin that made her rich, and originally she did not know what she had won.
At first, she thought maybe she had hit the machine for $60. Then, as time went on and the bells went off, she thought maybe $600. When the attendant showed up, they informed her that she had hit the progressive jackpot of $5,284,316. The jackpot instantly became the highest progressive jackpot ever hit at the casino.
