Jail for referee Tim Donaghy
Former NBA referee Tim Donaghy has been handed a 15-month jail sentence after being found guilty of helping gamblers and betting on game in which he officiated.
The 41-year-old was given the sentence by US District Court Judge Carol Amon.

With the 2008 Beijing Olympics coming up and a 'Dream Team' of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, et al. ready to take back the title of 'best hoops country in the world,' this scandal can safely play itself out and eventually disappear. Especially if Team USA takes the gold.
