Bills Playing In Toronto

I heard on the TV news in Toronto last night that the Buffalo Bills will play 3 exhibition and 5 regular season games in Toronto over the next 5 years.

The article also said that there are about 10,000 fans from Ontario at every Bills game. Personally, I think Toronto could support an NFL team, but that's a different topic.

I'm not sure why the Bills owner's doing this. Is he trying to stretch the drawing market for his team?

Pardon me for following my own post, but I've since heard after the official announcement that the ticket price for the Toronto games will be up around $250 a seat. I'm not sure if that's an average or what.

But it seems there's a bit of a money grab and that waters are being tested north of the border.

The median price will reportedly be $250 per ticket and fans not only must commit to all eight games but do so financially up front.

Well, I guess that explains why the owner's doing it. That must be sad to watch for the Bills fans in Buffalo.
