Detroit Red Wings win Stanley Cup
Congratulation to Detroit Red Wings. The Detroit Red Wings captured their 11th Stanley Cup title in franchise history Wednesday night defeating Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 to win the best-of-seven series 4-2.
With the win, Detroit proved its nickname of Hockeytown U.S.A. is apt. On the ice, there was never a question, as the Red Wings boasted the best record in the regular season and carried that success into the playoffs.
