Is poker.com the same as pkr.com? Do they accept US players?

poker.com is now the same as Carbon Poker

And U.S citizens are allowed to play and fund.

Poker.com is not the same as pkr.com, the first do accept U.S players.

Pkr.com is not reviewed yet by ixgames, but it's on our to-do list.

hi on joining poker.com do you have to deposit/earn points to enter freerolls?

The options are very open for any player. New player freerolls are awarded upon sign up, and are completely free !
