Default Letting Kids win?

Do you let your kids win when playing games? Seems the jury is out on the whole. Some say you should let them win sometimes whilst others say never they need to learn that you don't always win.
With our kids we always used to make sure they won sometimes, I mean if you are always getting beat whats the fun? What do you think?

I like to let the kids win no and then but make sure that they understand that winning never comes easily. I don't think it does anyone any good allowing them to win everything all the time, but do agree that they need encouragment to go on and get better and importantly learmn the lessons of loosing.

I think you must be very careful with Kids. Obviously they cannot win all the time as that is not the lesson they need for later in life and at the same time to fail all the time is never positive. I think that should be left to parents to decide.

I wouldn't adjust how I played other than to not be so bold with risky hands if it was a card game. Other than that I think as long as the kids emjoy the whole game then what is the harm. After all they should be enjoying the whole game not just thinking it is about winning!

I never let them win.
Honestly they are better than me. If I let them win then they can easily make a win which do not encourage them to think hard, play hard.

I don't believe in letting kids win. Frankly they need to learn that life is not always fair. Letting them win gives them a false sense that they are better than anyone. You do them no favors this way.

You shouldnt let them win all the time. There should be a balance you know. Let them know that its ok to lose, thats part of life.

Every once in a while I'll let the kids win, but only if I see that they've lost too many times before and their confidence is shaken. I don't think that I should let them win all the time.

When they are small like under 6 or 7, maybe letting them win is alright, but any older than that, they need to know that life is not always fair, and that they sometimes lose.
